You get a cute story with today's critters.
Ambers favorite animal (other than Finding Nemo) is the hippo. When the girls were little we'd go to the zoo in Sacramento every summer, and they had a hippo-Jewel of the Nile. Amber never cared to see anything else until we visited Jewel. However, they weren't (and still aren't around here) HIPPOpotamus they are MISSapotamus, because they are girls.

Suppose an update on a few things is in order

UPS package? Still sitting in Ontario Oregon to the best of anyone's guess. UPS won't even put any notes on it to rush until after it's delivered. And as of right now it's too late. She leaves at 4am for Italy. Thankfully it's a partial and for her upper back teeth, but still, she's having trouble eating and she paid for it, she should have it.
two things with this, okay, three-
1-Doc knew it was going to be a time rush and didn't start it earlier. This IS partly his fault. However the lab supervisor got it done in plenty of time to be here.
2-the lab shipping department fell down on the job twice by not getting it out as needed. The awesome lab supervisor took care of it herself and got it shipped correctly on her own time
3-UPS never entered the package into the computer system, stuck it somewhere and forgot about it. They don't know where it is, exactly. All we can do is go off the last known location-Ontario, Calif. It could be in Ethiopia by now for all we know

No patients tomorrow morning. They're finishing school screenings. Light afternoon. YAY

Bert had his meds changed a bit last week when he had that major anxiety thing going on. She upped the does and the strength. We need it cut back. He's either asleep or can't walk. Today was kidney/anemia day. They had the PA check him. On the way to the car going over? Fell and had trouble getting him up. (he's 6'3 and 230 pounds). Coming home he couldn't get up the two small steps and ended up sitting down and scooting in. Then slept a lot all evening. Oh, and didn't have lunch before we went so sugar levels dropped. He seems pretty good right now.

Amber and Amber were just here. They've been best friends forever. Amber S turned 18 today. Such a pretty girl. I have pics but they'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I've got a real live doctor appointment later this week. I avoid them as much as possible, but with some of the chronic conditions I have I need to see someone every now and then. I'll update if there's anything to share.
