Bonanza

Bonanza is an American television series that ran on NBC from September 12, 1959 to January 16, 1973. Lasting 14 seasons, it is among the longest running Western television series (behind Gunsmoke) .


Though not familiar stars in 1959, the cast quickly became favorites of the first TV generation.

-In 1967, David Canary joined the cast as "Candy" Canaday

Set in Nevada, in the 1860s, Bonanza chronicled the adventures of the Cartwright family who owned a large ranch - The Ponderosa.
