We went out and about for awhile today, a trip to Mann's Creek reservoir and camp area to look at wild flowers, lake, creek and glory hole. For anyone that doesn't know what a glory hole is (no, not that kind) it's a spillway for earthen dams. Water goes over the top of the hole and comes out the other side near the bottom. Sadly the new batteries I put in, after most of these were taken, took a whole 5 photos and were done, so there's only one shot of the hole and none from the other side. All are clickable thumbnails. Me too, very much so. Sadly there ain't a tree to be found down here that isn't transplanted. Have to drive to the hills for them.

very peaceful today, not another soul anywhere than just us. This next weekend I'm taking him for another outting in a different direction, then the zoo next monday
