This is the middle fork of the Yuba River. I learned to swim under that bridge, which is normally a heck of a lot further from the water



This is Alta Sierra, which is the country club and gated community area. This is where my Mother in Law lived

Bridgeport, which is the sight of the first transcontinental telephone wires between Sacramento and San Francisco. Though partially restored, the covered bridge in the oldest of the few remaining in California

Road clean up in Lake of the Pines, another gated community

Wolf Creek, which goes through Nevada City and Grass Valley. It's normally shallow enough for a child to walk through.
